Ukraine’s Regulator Authorizes Operations to Commence Unrestricted Loading of Chornobyl Reactors’ Used Fuel using Holtec-Supplied Technology on the 35th Anniversary of the Tragic Accident

After an extensive battery of pre- commissioning and commissioning tests, Ukraine’s State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate has authorized the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant to load used fuel from the Chornobyl three reactors with immediate effect.

New York’s Local, County & State Government and NGOs Unanimous in Approving Agreement that Supports Holtec’s Decommissioning of the Indian Point Energy Center

We are pleased to announce that a major step toward the timely decommissioning of the three-reactor Indian Point site occurred yesterday with the unanimous signing of a Joint Petition (“Agreement”) by all stakeholders that will support the NY Public Service Commission’s deliberations and decision in May.
