HI-POWER, our manufacturing subsidiary co-owned with Eos, began production of the Znyth® Direct Current (DC) Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in July at our Turtle Creek, PA plant. In the short two months since start up, HI-POWER is already attracting reputable companies and large energy storage projects.
On September 7, 2020, State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU) issued the License Permit to Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (ChNPP), the Owner, to start commissioning the Chornobyl Interim Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility (ISF-2) which, upon loading, will be the world’s largest dry storage installation.
From safely moving fuel to dismantling key components and using the latest innovative radioactive waste storage equipment, decommissioning activities at Pilgrim and Oyster Creek are moving forward with utmost safety and precision.
