We are pleased to report that Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), India’s sole nuclear plant owner and operator, has placed its first order for spent fuel and damaged fuel storage racks for its new away-from-reactor wet storage facility for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) with Holtec Asia, a Holtec subsidiary.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., India’s National Nuclear Plant Owner and Operator, Orders On-site Transport Casks from Holtec Asia

We are pleased to announce that our Pune, India based subsidiary, Holtec Asia, has received an order for two transport casks from Mumbai-based Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to serve the away-from-reactor storage facility for the country’s Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) located on the east coast of the Tamil Nadu state.

Heat Transfer Division to Provide an Innovative Air-Cooled Condenser System for Jackson Generation in Illinois

We are pleased to announce that a leading architect, engineer and constructor in the United States, has awarded a contract to Holtec International to provide the Company’s patented innovative induced draft air cooled condenser (ACC) system for a power generation project in Elwood, Illinois. The shorthand for Holtec’s induced draft air-cooled condenser system is “HI-KOOL.”

The George Washington Medal, established by the Club in 1967, is awarded to an individual for outstanding contribution to technological progress through engineering management.
