How it works: Tanaka Laser Cutter

The Tanaka Laser is a laser cutting machine used to cut thick steel plates.  Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser.  The focused beam is directed at the material, which then either melts, burns, or vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish.

The Holtec Tanaka is suited with the custom Pallet Changer.  The Pallet changer has sixteen trays to store and transition stainless steel plates for cutting on the Tanaka Machine.
