We are pleased to announce the establishment of HMI, LLC as an autonomous subsidiary of Holtec International with the mission to meet the time-critical maintenance and modification needs of the world’s operating nuclear power plants with assured performance certainty.
Establishment of in-country infrastructure under this Agreement will render Ukraine autonomous in manufacturing of capital nuclear equipment, thus enhancing energy security of the country while also serving to meet the needs of other fraternal countries in the region.
Holtec has received a conditional commitment for a loan guarantee of up to $1.52 billion from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office to support the historic repowering of the 800-megawatt Palisades Power Plant in Covert Township, Michigan.
