The list of the members of Holtec International’s Board-of-Directors (along with their short bios) is provided below.  As can be inferred from the list, the Holtec Board is composed of individuals with proven expertise in varied areas including industrial entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, government service, and academia. The Board advises the Company CEO on major policy matters and serves as the supreme watchdog of corporate governance. Each member is fully indemnified for his/ her work for the Board.

Stuart Crooks, CBE

Stuart Crooks is a brilliant hands-on engineer and an inspirational engineering leader. He has dedicated himself to the civil nuclear industry for 35 years. He was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2019 for services to Nuclear Energy.

José A. Gago

José A. Gago is as seasoned executive who has dedicated his career almost entirely to the nuclear industry. He brings in his technical and managerial experience in the whole nuclear fuel cycle, from fuel procurement and design to plant decommissioning. 


Dr. Eduardo D. Glandt

Eduardo Glandt is the Nemirovsky Family Dean Emeritus of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Glandt is a chemical engineer and a renowned expert in thermodynamics.


James H. Miller

Jim Miller is Of Counsel in the Birmingham office and a member of the Energy Section of the Law firm Balch & Bingham. Mr. Miller retired as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Nuclear Operating Company in the fall of 2011.


Dominique Miniere

Dominique Minière is a seasoned nuclear specialist and technical expert with over 40 years of experience in the energy industry. He was Chief Operating Officer of Électricité de France (EDF) and Nuclear President of Ontario Power Generation (OPG) putting on track the First Of A Kind SMR (Small Modular Reactor) project in western world. 


George Norcross

George E. Norcross, III is the Executive Chairman of Conner Strong & Buckelew, one of the nation’s premier insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage and consulting firms. Norcross has been the head of Conner Strong & Buckelew and predecessor companies since 1979.


Michael J. Pacilio

Michael J. Pacilio is a seasoned executive who brings the full range of operational, technical, organizational, financial and public policy skills to his role. Pacilio led Exelon Corporation’s power generation fleet, the nation’s largest clean energy operator. The fleet included the nation’s preeminent nuclear power operation as well as natural gas, hydro, wind and solar facilities.


Jim Saxton

Jim Saxton served as a member of the United States House of Representatives starting in 1984 retiring in 2009 after 25 years of distinguished public service. Before his election to the state legislature, he was an educator in the Bordentown Township School District followed by a short stint as the owner and operator of a real estate brokerage business.
