Annat Jain is the Chief Credit Officer of Holtec International, CEO of Holtec Asia, Senior Advisor to the Founder, Chairman and CEO, Holtec International, and the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Capital Formation, Holtec International, where he is helping shape Holtec International’s finance and infrastructure platform. His mandate spans capital-formation strategy, enterprise-level financial architecture, and the evaluation of strategic infrastructure projects across Holtec’s clean-energy, nuclear, and advanced-manufacturing portfolio.
Industry Leadership
Jain is a seasoned executive with leadership experience in the US and India on investing in infrastructure, where he has led proprietary investments and complex restructurings. Previously, he served as CEO and Country Manager for South Asia at Avenue Capital Group in New York, where he helped raise and deploy a multi-billion-dollar Asia fund and oversaw private equity investments across infrastructure, healthcare and industrial assets in India, China, and Southeast Asia. Over more than twenty-five years, he has developed, financed, and delivered large-scale power, LNG, and infrastructure projects in Asia, combining project-development and investment expertise with deep experience working with governments and regulators.
Alongside his private-sector roles, Annat has worked extensively at the interface of government and policy, including decade-long pro bono service as Senior Economic Advisor to India’s Finance Minister. He is a contributor to op-eds, television commentary, and industry-forum participation on infrastructure, finance, and economic reform in leading platforms such as The Asian Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, and The Times of India, among others.
Education
Annat holds a Master of Public Policy & Administration (International Finance) from Columbia University, New York, as well as a Master of Architecture (Urban Planning) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia.
