Young Choi is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Nuclear Energy Group, Hyundai Engineering & Construction (HDEC). He is responsible for managing all aspects of the HDEC’s Nuclear Business.
Before assuming his current position in 2020, Mr. Choi was Project Manager of UAE Nuclear Power Plant Site, which attracts worldwide attention, is being executed right on track by HDEC. He served in this role since 2017 and responsible for all plant construction and personnel. Also, he had been Project Manager of Shin-Kori Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 & 4 Site in South Korea from 2014-2017.
Mr. Choi brings more than 30 years of experience to the position and a deep knowledge of construction in Nuclear Power Plant, he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility in the field of execution, project management and executive leadership.
