Ken Peters is the Chief Nuclear Officer for Vistra Energy/Luminant. Luminant is a competitive power generation subsidiary of Vistra Energy.
Peters is responsible for the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of the Comanche Peak nuclear power plant, in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Peters holds engineering degrees and an M.B.A. He has attended several executive programs, including the Wharton Executive Development Program. Prior to joining Luminant, Peters held various managerial roles at other nuclear power stations, including Plant Manager and Vice President, Engineering and Projects.
Peters is a member of the Texas Radiation Advisory Board, the Board of the Utilities Services alliance, and a member of the Texas A&M Nuclear Engineering Advisory Council.
