The Holtec Advisory Council consists of recognized industry leaders with a corporate nexus to Holtec International. The Council’s principal role is to provide input to the Company’s executive leadership with respect to both the technical and commercial merits and weaknesses of the SMR-160 program. This august body of industry leaders reviews and critiques the SMR-160 at bi-annual meetings, challenging design and plant operational decisions, providing insightful advice and direction, and effectively informing the design development through the eyes of experienced owner/operators. Their experience, commitment and input to the SMR-160 program is invaluable.

Randolph C. Bunt
Randolph C. Bunt is the Manager of Severe Accident Management for Southern Nuclear Fleet, with over 36 years in the nuclear business at Southern Company. Mr. Bunt recently a played major role in development of Post-Fukushima guidance on Hardened Vents (NEI 13-02) and Spent Fuel Pool Level Instruments (NEI 12-02) and FLEX Working Group. He is the current Chair of the BWROG Fukushima Response Committee and RCIC Expanded Operating Band Committee.
Dr. Stephan Werner Döhler
Dr. Stephan Werner Döhler is a member of the Management Board & Head of Division Nuclear Energy Axpo Power AG. He previously served as the CEO Nuclear Power Plant Leibstadt AG & Nuclear Power Plant Beznau and Vice President Board of Directors ENERTRAG AG, Germany (wind power projects and power production, 800 MW installed). He also serves as President Board of Directors Zwischenlager Würenlingen AG (interim storage facility for nuclear waste).
Mr. Brian Heery is President and Chief Executive Officer for MEPPI. The company has two business groups, each with several operating divisions. The Power Systems Group primarily serves the electric utility markets with generation and substation products. The Public Utilities Group serves diverse markets with heavy electrical infrastructure products. Mr. Heery joined MEPPI in Houston TX in 1989 as a Region Manager for the Central United States.
Ms. Maria Korsnick is an acclaimed nuclear engineer with a long record of service to the nuclear power industry. She joined the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) in 2015 as a loaned executive from Exelon and is serving as NEI’s chief operating officer. In this role, she is responsible for the Government Affairs, Strategic Planning and Policy, Suppliers and International Programs, Nuclear Generation and Communication divisions.
Mr. Chris Mudrick has more than 28 years of experience in plant operations in support of nuclear power stations, including his current responsibilities in Exelon Nuclear. He is currently the Sr. Vice President, Northeast Operations. He is responsible for the oversight of Exelon’s Northeast sites: Calvert Cliffs, Nine Mile Point, Oyster Creek, and R.E. Ginna. These sites, along with the other ten Exelon sites, contribute more than 22,000 megawatts of electricity.
Yuriy O. Nedashkovskiy
Yuriy Nedashkovskiy was most recently appointed as President of SE NNEGC Energoatom by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 124-p dated 05.03.2014, where he served until late 2019. From 1983 to 2000, he worked at the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant, where he passed the career path from lineman of border equipment to Director General of station. In 1983 he graduated from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute majoring in “Nuclear Plants and Installations” specialization.
Michael W. Rencheck
Michael W. Rencheck has been appointed the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bruce Power starting August 15, 2016. Over the last 33 years, Mike has served in a number of roles and most recently was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for AREVA overseeing its extensive Global capital portfolio of nuclear and renewable projects. Prior to this, he served as President and CEO of AREVA Inc. in North America leading its diverse nuclear services business in Canada and the United States with a workforce of about 5,000 people.
