Dominique Minière is Ontario Power Generation’s Chief Strategic Officer and is responsible for developing, planning, executing and managing the strategy for the business to achieve mid to long-term growth opportunities including new electricity generation, decommissioning strategies and provision of other services in the nuclear industry. He previously was President – Nuclear, where he focused on growing OPG’s nuclear business and oversaw all of OPG’s nuclear operations. He is a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience.

Prior to his appointment at OPG, Dominique was Chief Operating Officer of Électricité de France (EDF), one of the world’s largest nuclear and thermal fleets. With nearly 40 years of experience with EDF, Dominique has substantial experience constructing, operating and refurbishing nuclear plants and has been directly engaged in spent fuel management and nuclear waste.

He also has extensive international experience, having served on the board of the World Association of Nuclear Operators.
