
Kevin O’Rourke
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kevin O’Rourke is responsible for overseeing the execution of accounting and finance operations at Holtec’s corporate and worldwide operation centers. In this role, he tracks Holtec’s profitability, cash flow and financial planning, analyzes financial strengths and weaknesses, and designs, implements and evaluates financial internal controls. His duties also include evaluating strategic acquisition opportunities, managing Holtec’s external accountants, banking and insurance relationships, and overseeing capital investments, taxes and insurance. O’Rourke’s extensive experience in government accounting is well-aligned with the increasing demands of Holtec Government Services, Holtec’s fastest growing subsidiary.
O’Rourke also serves on several boards and committees at Holtec, including the Finance and Accounting Committee, which ensures the fiduciary integrity of Holtec’s many business units and operating divisions.
Professional History
O’Rourke has decades of accounting and financial management experience with a substantial period of time in public accounting as an auditor and a sought-after industry consultant, including working with several clients who were multibillion-dollar private businesses and well-known industry leaders in their respective business sectors. O’Rourke has also served as the CFO of several highly successful private businesses. He has experience in numerous industries including the real estate, construction, healthcare and government sectors.
Education
O’Rourke earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1999.
Community Involvement
O’Rourke has volunteered at a number of non-profit organizations related to animal welfare and served on the Board of Directors of several. He has also served as an assistant coach with several youth athletic organizations.
