Chris Cunningham is Vice President of Nuclear Projects for OPG, where he is responsible for the oversight and delivery of a large and complex portfolio of approximately 250 projects that have a combined value of circa $8B. 

Prior to joining OPG in 2018, Chris worked for Jacobs where he delivered Major EPC Projects and Portfolios and led various Joint Ventures and Engineering consultancies in the United Kingdom. 

He has been involved with Nuclear Decommissioning since the mid 1990’s and has been involved with some of the most complex and challenging nuclear decommissioning projects in the world. 

He started his career aged 16 as an Instrument Mechanic Apprentice at the Sellafield nuclear site in the North of England. He is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and holds an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Salford, and has over 20 year experience in major project delivery.
